Shannon Martinez and Mo Wyse, two women with totally unique talents, set out to build a restaurant in Fitzroy, Victoria in 2014. From here, Smith & Daughters was born!

Smith & Daughters is a fun, full of life restaurant with a rock and roll vibe, which just happens to be vegan.

After seeing such huge success with their restaurant, in July 2015 they opened another Fitzroy foodie paradise - Smith & Deli, an all vegan convenience store and deli.

This cookbook was written by both Shannon and Mo with an intention to broaden the mainstream scope of plant-based cuisine.
Inspired by meals on their menu, this cookbook ignores convention in favour of plant-based creativity in the kitchen!

Amongst the 7 chapters of this book you'll find over 80 delicious vegan recipes, with a Spanish twist, to recreate at home. Including big and small plates, salads, sweets, dressings and drinks.

From 'chorizo' and potato, to warm spanish doughnuts, the recipes in this book give new inventive life to classic Spanish Cuisine that will appeal to meat and veg eaters alike.

At High Country Holistic we want to help educate our community on the importance of animal welfare, helping others to understand that the journey towards true happiness and healing begins from a place of compassion, not only for yourself, but others we share this planet with.

We believe that following a plant-based diet, as well as an ethical and cruelty-free lifestyle, is a wonderful first step to spreading kindness and compassion in our world.
